ADAM'S EIGHT (Adams Acht) is set for a SEPTEMBER 17 theatrical release in Germany, distributed by Warner Bros. and Majestic. Inspired by a remarkable true story, Adam’s Eight follows Karl Adam — a visionary rowing coach who, in 1950s Germany, brought together a group of underdogs and turned them into champions. Within just three years, his team defied all odds to win Olympic gold in Rome in 1960.

VIENNA GAME is finally set to premiere worldwide on Disney+ in NOVEMBER 2026. The six-part historical satire returns to the decadent world of the Congress of Vienna in 1814, where diplomacy played out through intrigue, ambition, and desire as much as through official negotiations. While Napoleon lingers in exile on Elba, Europe’s fate is rewritten in a fever of masked balls, orgiastic feasts, whispered conspiracies, and a haze of lust, ambition, and betrayal. Power shifts hands as easily as a glass of wine, and the corridors of influence pulse with the energy of sex, drugs, and symphonies that rock the foundations of old Europe.

LEONINE Studios is set to release JENNERWEIN – HIGH SEASON in cinemas in late 2026. Set in the Bavarian Alps, the film blends offbeat crime, deadpan humour and a quietly unsettling sense of human darkness. It will premiere on RTL at a later stage.

MagentaTV has boarded SHADOWTOWER (Turmschatten), with Wild Bunch handling worldwide distribution under the international title Shadowtower. Adapted from Peter Grandl’s bestselling 2020 novel, the six-part German political thriller is directed by Hannu Salonen and stars Heiner Lauterbach as Ephraim Zamir, a Holocaust survivor driven to extremes after his adopted daughter becomes the victim of a brutal neo-Nazi assault. Zamir captures those responsible and broadcasts their fate online, turning their punishment into a public vote. Originally produced for Paramount+, "Turmschatten" was acquired by Sky Deutschland following Paramount+'s decision to discontinue its German original productions.
